OVERVIEW 

The TASER X26C is modeled after the law enforcement TASER X26 and utilizes the same technologies found in law enforcement models. The main difference between the TASER X26C and law enforcement's X26 is the range, which is 15' in the X26C and longer in the X26.

The TASER X26C has plenty of take-down power, with enough voltage to completely override the brain waves that control voluntary muscle movement. The electrical current is carried by conductive insulated wires connected to two probes which are discharged using compressed nitrogen.

The X26C is software upgradable and can also be equipped with a TASER CAM, which can record audio and video when the device is in use.

The Difference between an X26 and X26C TASER

The main difference is police model TASER devices typically utilize cartridges that have a range beyond that of the consumer cartridges.  Allthough police cartridges can be used on the X26C, consumers are not allowed to buy police cartridges.

Neuro Muscular Incapacitation
	Disables the most aggressive subjects by temporarily overriding the command and control signals from the brain throughout the body which impairs muscle movement.
TASER Shaped Pulse™
	A high voltage wave that penetrates clothing as much as 1/2 inch thick, followed by a lower voltage pulse to cause Neuro-Muscular Incapacitation on any human being.
Digital Pulse Control (DPC)
	A module that is replaceable and can hit targets at a range of up to 15 feet. Utilizes a nitrogen propulsion system, high voltage TASER wire, two probes made of metal, and an anti-felon identification serialization optimized for the X26C.
M/X TASER Cartridge
	A replaceable module that can hit subjects up to 15 feet away.  Utilizes a nitrogen propulsion system, high voltage TASER wire, two metal probes, and an anti-felon identification serialization.  Compatible with TASER M and X Series models
Anti-Felon Identification (AFID)
	A system that deters the misuse of TASER devices through accountability and purchase-tracking, Anti-Felon Identification includes bar-coded serialization of each cartridge number and disperses confetti-like tags upon firing.
Laser and Illuminator Integration
	User configurable settings control laser and low-intensity illumination synchronous with safety switch operation.
Digital Power Magazine (DPM)
	The X26C power source with lithium battery cells and a solid state memory module. The device also tracks power consumption, power levels remaining, and allows for the software to be updated when the battery is replaced.
Central Information Display (CID)
	A display that tells the user how much battery percentage remains. It also displays the duration remaining during pulse discharge as well as warranty status, time, and date.
